The Trusted eXchange Network is an online community of UK veterans and reservists, joining together from across the globe in a members-only platform.
It has been created as a network of networks, without all the usual trappings of social media - spam, irrelevant ads and pesky algorithms.
And built upon the trust that exists between those who have served,
reconnecting us as we make progress beyond service life.
More than a network, it is a sharing system, where all veterans and reservists can come together to welcome newcomers to life after the military.
It’s how to get the most out of all things veteran, near and far.

Our 5 Fundamentals
- Combined-Services and inclusive of all ranks - enabling everyone to rebuild a supportive network and feel belonging, as we craft a life after military service.
- Network of networks - its strength will be its membership and community spirit - everyone pitching in and paying it forward.
- Connection Support Service - who is a human, will help you link with other members and find solutions to resolve your challenge / question.
- Digitised platform - it is very important to the Board that our community has a safe space online and remains free from intrusive advertising.
- A not-for-profit - where funds raised are put back into the development of the platform and supporting its members.
For 3 years and during the pandemic, the project was active and we learned how best to operate an independent digital sharing economy community platform.
But it was clear that the current platform will never provide the capabilities that we need.
We have learnt a great deal which will inform the next stage of our development.
In 2023, we are now looking to scale-up the service and seeking additional investment.
The process is progressing well. One of the key aspects is the commitment of the founding and future members, and it is important for the project that you remain with us on the Veterans’ Network journey.
As the construction of the new bespoke platform gets underway, we hope that you will continue to follow our progress via our e-newsletter updates. We would also like to consult you as the key user group while the digital development progresses.
We are now generating seed funding and building a compelling proposition which is informed by the TX-Net experience. This will provoke the support we need to develop a veterans’ network that fulfils the objectives we have set out to achieve.
